St George Co-Operative, Clarence Drive

One of the first in Hyndland, at the foot of Clarence Drive, this shop dates from 1903. The St George Co-operative Society ran a grocery here from 1913 until about 1980, with a smaller separate butcher. This photograph dates from 1937, just after refurbishment.
